Cassandra Solon Designs offers distinctive, hand-painted wallcoverings, printed to order in England.

Born into a family of artists, Cassandra Solon grew up in London where, as a child, she was often taken to the V&A or British museum to sketch alongside her mother, and there developed a grasp of art history and an appreciation for traditional patterns and motifs. In particular, Cassandra is a devotee of the Arts and Crafts movement, and her hand-painted wallpaper designs are influenced by the artists of that time.

Still a resident of the city, Cassandra delights in and takes inspiration from its green spaces, particularly the wetlands and marshes near the River Lea where she lives in North London, and which are rich habitats for birdlife.

It is this love of nature and appreciation of British design heritage which informs Cassandra's first wallpaper collection, and upon which Cassandra Solon Designs is founded.
